What Design Pickle publishes, and what it does not

Design Pickle’s pricing page describes a brand-trained team with a production coordinator and an art director, first drafts the next business day, and revisions with no per-change fees. It does not publish a price: plans are scoped to your needs and the number is set on a call. All plans are billed quarterly or annually. You can cancel any time before your next renewal, and the account stays active to the end of the period you paid for.

That suits teams happy to commit by the quarter. If you would rather compare prices first and keep the option to stop after any month, the providers below publish both.

Four terms that matter more than the headline price

01

When you can leave

Monthly billing with cancel-anytime terms lets you stop at the end of any month. Quarterly or annual billing, as at Design Pickle, means you cancel before the next renewal and the account runs to the end of the period you paid for.

02

Refund or trial

They are not the same thing. A free trial, like Kimp’s 7 days, costs nothing to test. A money-back guarantee, from DigitalPolo’s 7 days to Penji’s 30, refunds you if you ask within the window. Kimp states it does not refund for inactivity.

03

What “a day of design” means

Providers count capacity differently: daily outputs at ManyPixels, hours at Flocksy, Kimp and Delesign, workstreams at Penji, active tasks at DigitalPolo. Compare like with like before you compare prices.

04

Who else your designer serves

Delesign publishes that each designer works with an average of 4 clients. Most providers do not say. Ask, because it decides how quickly your requests move.

When a subscription is not the answer

Every plan above sells a share of a design team’s time through a request queue. If you need design most days, want one person to learn your brand, or want to work live on calls and in Figma, a dedicated designer usually fits better. Through dpoint, a full-time designer costs $600 to $1,400 a month, all-in, works only for you on your hours, and is managed by an account lead. We work out the cost per design hour of each option in dedicated designer vs design subscription. See also the dedicated designer service and the designer cost guide.
