Your day, their shift

The exact hours your team works

India Standard Time is UTC+5:30 and has no daylight saving, so the India-side shift moves by an hour when US clocks change.

How it works

01

The same person, on your clock

Your designer, writer or marketer works your business day as their regular, full-time shift. Not an overnight relay, not a shared queue: one dedicated person, online when you are.

02

Live, not async

Standups in your morning, reviews in your afternoon, quick changes the same day. They work inside your Slack or Teams, your project tool and your files, like the rest of your team.

03

Managed around the clock

dpoint runs 24/7 as a company because its clients sit in different time zones, so an account lead covers your hours too. Payroll, equipment, NDA and IP assignment are handled before anyone starts.

The honest comparison

Full-day overlap without the nearshore price

Most advice tells US buyers that Asia means async work, and that live overlap means paying Latin American rates. A dedicated shift removes that trade-off.

FAQ

US questions

Can an offshore team in India really work US hours?

Yes, as a dedicated shift. With dpoint, a US client’s team works that client’s own 9 to 5 as their regular, full-time job. A New York working day is 6:30pm to 2:30am in India during US daylight time and 7:30pm to 3:30am in winter. India’s IT and services industry has run US-hours shifts for decades, so it is an established way of working, not a favour.

What hours will my team work?

Your hours, agreed in writing before anyone starts. For Eastern time that is 18:30 to 02:30 India time from mid-March to early November and 19:30 to 03:30 in winter. For Pacific time it is 21:30 to 05:30 and 22:30 to 06:30. India does not change its clocks, so the India-side shift moves by an hour when the US does.

Why not just hire nearshore in Latin America for the overlap?

Latin America shares your time zone naturally, which is a real advantage, but you pay for it: nearshore staff typically cost two to four times dpoint’s published rates. With dpoint you get the same live, full-day overlap through a dedicated shift, at Indian rates, for any role: creative, marketing, development, IT and customer support.

How much does a US-hours offshore team cost?

Staff start from $500 a month per full-time person, all-in, and a managed team of four costs about $3,000 a month. A mid-level designer is $900 a month, against roughly $6,300 fully loaded for a US hire. There are no recruiting fees, and your exact quote is fixed in writing before you start.

Which roles can US companies hire?

Graphic and brand designers, content writers, social media managers, digital marketers, video editors and web developers, as individual specialists or a full managed team, all on your US hours.

How fast can a US-hours team start?

You usually see shortlisted, vetted people within the week, and a productive, onboarded team in about 14 days.
